RUN TO THE FUTURE 2K AND 5K WITH RICHARD WHITEHEAD MBE AND ADELE ROBERTS IS AN OPPORTUNITY TO RACE AROUND A UNIQUE AND ICONIC ROUTE.
Join us at Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park on Sunday 15th September 2024.

Both the 5K and 2K race will start and finish next to the London Stadium. Taking in some of the sites of the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, home of the 2012 London Olympic and Paralympic Games – this course is guaranteed to inspire you!
Start Times: 5K 10:30 am 2K 12:00 pm
Each kilometre is clearly signposted around the course and we have plenty of helpers to keep you on track and cheer you on to the finish line.
There will also be accessible portable toilet facilities around the course, alongside the public toilets located at ///buddy.hook.goat.
AFTER THE RACE YOU CAN ALSO JOIN US ON OUR ACCESSIBLE VIEWING PLATFORM TO SEE INSIDE THE FAMOUS LONDON STADIUM WHERE THE MAGIC OF 2012 UNFOLDED

REFRESHMENTS
There will be a water station along the course just before Bridge 5, available at kilometre 2.2 for the 5k event, and kilometre 1.5 for the 2k event, as well as at the finish line where you can collect your medal and post-race goodies.
THE COURSE
The race will start just in front of the London Stadium and finish next to the Olympic Bell. iThere will be signs marking each kilometre along the course,along with arrows to direct you along the way. There will be plenty of marshals to keep you going all the way to the finish, and to highlight major hazards.
Due to the nature of a lapped course we ask that you remain to the left of the path at all times, unless otherwise instructed by signage or a marshal. This will allow for anyone needing to overtake to have a clear path on your right and ensure not only their safety but allow for the best experience throughout the event.

There WILL be pedestrians in the Park, please be aware of pedestrians, cyclists and dogs. We have marshals and signs around the course, but please pay very close attention to where you are going. We recommend you do not use earphones and you need to pay close attention to everything around you.
